Use our handy Adaptor Guide to learn more about how to charge your devices in Fiji.
Fiji Power Adapter Info
Most modern devices like phone chargers, laptops, and cameras are dual voltage (100–240V) — just check the label.
If your device is not compatible with 240V (common for some US appliances), you’ll need a voltage converter anda plug adapter.
Voltage and Frequency
- Voltage: 240 volts
- Frequency: 50 Hz
Tip for Travelers
- Good news for Aussies and Kiwis: You won’t need an adapter or voltage converter if you’re coming from Australia or New Zealand — your plugs will fit and your devices will work.
- If you’re coming from outside Australia/NZ, bring a Type I plug adapter and a voltage converter if your device isn’t dual voltage (check your charger/device label – many laptops and phone chargers are).
- Bring:
- Power bank (for outages or long travel days)
- Surge protector (especially for sensitive electronics)
- Universal adapter if you’re visiting other Pacific or Asian countries too
