What You Need to Know Before You Go Healthwise

Staying healthy while traveling is key! For most travelers, no special vaccinations are required to enter Fiji, but there are some recommended vaccinations to help protect your health, especially if you’re planning to explore rural areas or stay for an extended period.

Routine Vaccinations (Make Sure These Are Up to Date):

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)

  • Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DTaP/Tdap)

  • Polio

  • Influenza (Flu Shot) – especially if traveling during flu season

  • COVID-19 – Fiji may have entry requirements or recommendations around this

Mosquito Protection Tips

  • Visit a travel clinic 4–6 weeks before your trip if possible.
